The "Dynamic Catalogues" module originated
to provide the customer with rational and targeted product documentation.
This module manages and makes available to the user of the service
only the documentation required and regarding the selected product,
thus avoiding needless searching among a myriad of additional
information usually contained in the range's generic documentation.
TETRASERVICE is able to dynamically manage
all technical documentation and catalogues, allowing real-time
generation of the documentation pertaining to each type of product
present in the file. It also makes it possible to manage the historical
file limiting it to product revisions, thus guaranteeing the service
customers continuity in assistance even when it comes to obsolete
products, making it easier for them to perform checks and/or maintenance.
There are considerable advantages to this service:
RELIABILITY
- All the documentation managed in this way boasts extremely high
reliability: passage between those who create the documentation
and those who manage and prepare it for pagination (and who usually
aren't technical personnel) is drastically reduced, thus also
reducing the possibility of errors;
SPEED -
In case of update, implementation or obsolescence of products,
the gap between product update and documentation update is close
to null, as it is not affected by the typical delays of hardcopy
management. The documentation always reflects what is taking place
in production;
CONTINUITY
- It is possible to offer assurance of continuity, guaranteeing
the customer that, even if in the future his product becomes obsolete,
he will always have a reliable and easily consultable source from
which he can retrieve information;
SAVINGS
- By having a clear, targeted and reliable source of data on the
web, the customer will require less human technical assistance
(in particular by phone), which will be in good part relieved
of this service and can therefore be used in other activities.
The "Dynamic Catalogues" module is
naturally and finally integrated if connected to the "Spare
Parts Management " module. When replacing a component,
the user will be asked to enter the product designation, the date
of purchase and/or the identification code to obtain all the information
regarding the spare parts code required, the order of the same
and also any assembly and/or maintenance procedures to follow.
